Building Bridges

Pillars of Pride

Symbolized by Burlington's iconic Great River Bridge, we're all about building bridges within our community. Because the integrity of a structure is only as good as the strength of its foundation (and we want to build bridges that last), our ethos is built upon our Pillars of Pride:

Respect

Abiding by the golden rule, 'Treat others the way you would want t be treated,' we're committed to providing safe, respectful, and family-friendly activities and environments. Our goal is to build a strong sense of acceptance, connection, and belonging.

Education

Regardless of your LGBTQ+ knowledge level, we're ready to meet you where you're at in a non-judgmental space. We've packed our event full of educational programming, resources, and team members to answer your burning (and, of course, respectful) questions.

Liberty

Shout out to the First Amendment for protecting our fundamental human right to free speech, religion, press, assembly, and to petition the government! There are a million different ways to human, and we strive to put together a diverse program that reflects that.

Advocacy

We're committed to using our platform to empower, and amplify the voices of marginalized communities in the LGBTQ+ community and beyond. Nelson Mandela said it best: "As long as poverty, injustice, and gross inequality persist in our word, none of us can truly rest."

Local LGBTQ+ and Ally Businesses

A big part of pride is celebrating Burlington itself! We're proud of our home, community members, and small businesses. Whether you're visiting from out of town or a fellow Burlingtonian, we recommend stopping in and supporting these queer-friendly spaces:
